The fume cupboard is designed for laboratory work in physics and chemistry classrooms using reagents that release harmful vapours.
Overall dimensions of the cupboard:
• width: 1044 mm;
• depth: 700 mm;
• height: 2360 mm.
The cupboard consists of an upper extraction section with viewing panels and a lower storage cabinet. The carcass is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard; the worktop and rim are HPL.
All edges are finished with PVC edging:
• visible parts: 1.0 mm;
• non-visible parts: 0.5 mm.
The upper section has an extraction duct with forced ventilation based on a DOMOVENT 150 VKO fan (ø150 mm opening) for efficient gas removal. For comfortable work, the upper part of the work area has two Accento lighting AC-AL605 LED lamps, 9 W each.
For safety, a VIKO 1C 16A circuit breaker protects the circuit and provides emergency power cut-off. The front has a lifting sash that runs on guides and locks with latches. The sash panels are clear acrylic glass for greater safety and resistance to mechanical damage.
The worktop has a protective spill rim. The work area has a sink with tap and three splash-proof, earthed power outlets with protective covers. Wiring uses PVS 3x1.5 cable in protective housing and cable ducts.
The lower part is a two-door cabinet. Adjustable feet allow levelling.
